Brief Biography

I live in London, England and write in two quite different genres. The first is historical fiction, set in the ancient middle east - Egypt, Canaan and Israel. I have also contributed to the lively academic debate about these times. Secondly there is science fiction, set in a fairly near future when small colonies are scattered around the solar system. The focus here is on tackling financial fraud, along with a keen personal interest in the future relationships between human and artificial intelligence.

I work professionally in IT quality assurance.

When not writing words or computer code, I enjoy spending time with family, walking, and wildlife, ideally combining all three pursuits in the English Lake District.
